Last minutes Christmas gifts...

The design of the card was from one of my fellow stampin Up demonstrator Monica Gail, the image is on her blog.

This is a £15 gift voucher that can be redeemed only through me, so if you are stuck for a present to the crafter in your life this may be just what are looking for; It comes in a pretty card ready to hang on the tree and if you need to post it I have included an envelope. The voucher can be of any denomination.

This is a writing set and it includes some decorated sheets of A5 paper, some envelopes to match, a decorated pen and a little holder for postage stamps all put together to make an inexpensive gift for a work colleague or teacher.
This was a plain black diary that has been cover with scrap book papers, a bit of ribbon, some chip board letters and a pretty flower embellishment. Another great gift for a colleague or teacher.

Here is one of the desk calendars that I made a few months ago, this would also make a great littles gift for somebody.

Below is a box of cards, 3" x 3", these would be ideal as a gift again for the teacher or work colleague. They are very sweet!

If you would like any of these gifts email me your choice and the latest date for you to receive them. Any of them can be made in a clour of your choose.

Thanks for looking!

New Catalogue launch...

It has finally arrived, and if you haven't got your copy yet here is the link to the online issue just brimming with lots of fantastic new goodies to fill your wish list, even better why not get in touch and book a workshop and give yourself the opportunity to earn some of these fab goodies, I still have a few dates left for October!
  • We have 14 new punches in the new space savour design like the bird punch.
  • We have introduced clear mount stamps for those that have space saving issues, they only take up as much room as a DVD but they are still the same great quality you get with all Stampin Up products. And they are a bit cheaper to buy so you can have a bit extra for another stamp set.
  • We have some beautiful new colours too, 5 are the new In colours and then there are the 4 newly renovated colour families. All of which I think work so much better with each other. We have also introduced new colour kits to buy to make it easier for you to update your new colour families. click here to see them.
  • And then there is the colour coach, such a great tool to help you put colours from any of the families together. It gives you all of the colour families, plus the new in colours and at least 2 colour combinations for each colour. I haven't stopped using mine since I got it and it's worth every penny!
So if your wish list is rather large why not consider joining one of my virtual clubs, there will be spaces starting November. get in touch now to reserve a space and get free goodies while you buy the things you want.

Swaps for the Training Event...

I went to a Stampin Up training event in High Wycombe on Friday and met up with some very talented ladies and swapped my little calendar for some really clever swaps back. quite a few of the swaps were made using items from the new catalogue and they were fab. Sorry to say I am not aloud to show you these until the New Idea Book and Catalogue has launched on the first of October so watch this space!

Being a demonstrator gives you privileges such as being the first to buy some of the new products from the catalogue before it has launched, and I will say this, you will not be disappointed. the catalogue is bigger than last year and has so many new products in it you will not know what to buy first. The new Hostess stamp sets are to die for and I for one will be working hard to get them all.

There are so many benefits to being a demonstrator and the new starter kit is much better than before and it will cost you less too! why don't you get in touch and have in informal chat with no obligation, you may be pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

Or why not contact me to book one of the first workshops with the new catalogue and see what special benefits I can offer you, you won't be disappointed.

I have just received a shipment of the new Idea Book and Catalogue, the usual price for these are £5.95 but you can purchase one from me today for the price of £3 + £1.32 P&P. Use the Paypal button or email me to order yours today and be the first to see the contents, you'll love them!

I will be back soon with an update regarding the new Catalogue launch so come back soon!

Card Classes

Hello again, it's been a whole month since I posted, i've been so busy that I have not been able to find the time but I'm back now and hopefully it won't be so long next time.

Card club will be next Saturday 31st July at 2pm at my home. We will be doing the male/child cards this month as we didn't manage to do them last month. Scroll down to my last blog to see a sneak peak.

As usual all supplies needed to complete your 3 cards will be provided but bring along your paper trimmer with score blade if you have one, a pair of scissors and your favourite glue. Refreshments will be provided.

If you bring a friend along you can have the class for half price (£5) and if you spend £25 or more from the current catalogue or mini book the card club will also be half price (£5), so potentially you could have the card class free of charge.

There is a lot of preparation and cutting involved behind the scenes that you do not have to worry about because I do it all before you come to my classes, however I do often get let down at the last minute and often after these preparations have been done so, Because of this I now (regrettably) have to ask for payment ahead of the class therefore I would be grateful if you could ensure I have your payment by Thursday 29th July; I can take payment via Paypal as a gift, (this way you do not have to pay their charges). You could send me a cheque through the post or bring round the cash.

I am sorry that it has to be this way but it is difficult to use the card once it has been cut up so this ensures that I will not be out of pocket should anybody let me down at the last minute. I do hope you understand.

I look forward to seeing you next week!

Here is a picture I made for my new Grandaughters room using the Fox and friends stamp set from the Mini catalogue and the Nursery Letters Jumbo wheel.

I will also be adding some more pictures to my slide show in the next day or so.

Card Club...

Sneak Peak of one of the cards!

Just a little reminder that I will be holding my usual card club on Saturday starting at 2pm. I still have a couple of spaces left and you would be very welcome, we are a friendly bunch of ladies that enjoy having a laugh and a joke so it should be a fun afternoon; We will be making something for the men this month and there will be 3 projects - would love to see you there.

I will need to know by Friday Lunch at the latest so that I can prepare the kits etc... The cost of the class is £10 per person including all supplies or you can get your class for half price if you bring along a new guest.

I will also be making some delicious Chocolate Brownies too!

See you there!

25 of the colours will stay and there will be 15 new colours added. (See the colour charts to your left).

I am really excited about the new colours as it will mean we will have the same colours as the rest of the Stampin' Up market; how many times have you seen them use a colour you wish you could get hold of! Well as from October you will be able to.

If there are any retiring colours that you particularly like I would suggest you stock up on these over the next few months, don’t forget it’s not just the inks in the retiring colours but the cardstock, papers and all the embellishments too that will be retiring. I shall be stocking up on the Tempting Teal.

Thank you card

Hello, I hope you are enjoying the lovely weather, lets hope it lasts into the weekend.

I wanted to share this thank you card I made for one of my most valued customer as it shows just how well the different products in the stampin up colour family match so well. I have just used Pumpkin Pie and white as my colour scheme and made the card using patterns designer series papers, the 1/2" striped grosgrain ribbon, whisper white card stock and Pumpkin Pie ink pad. I love the way all the stampin up products make your crafting seem so effortless and professional looking.

If you love Stampin up products as much as I do why not consider hosting a workshop and the chance to earn some free products, I am offering 24 6x6 free papers from the new designer series paper stack in the new mini catalogue for any one hosting a work shop during the month of April, there is not much time left now so why not drop me an email today. Be lovely to hear from you.

Also I still have some packs of my ribbon share if any one else is interested, see post below.

Box-a-lopes

Hi all,

Sorry it has been a bit quiet for the past week or so but I have been away spending some quality time with my daughter and grandaughter. I had a great time and the next time I see them there should be another addition to the family.

I thought I would share one of my project ideas with you; I made this card set using a box-a-lope that I bought several years ago, they are mainly used for posting bulky cards through the post so as to help prevent them from getting squashed; I never really new what to do with them other than what they were designed for but I recently came up with the idea after seeing something similar on the world wide web (can't remember where though sorry. I also used some papers that I have had for a year or so too, they are not from Stampin' Up though. I made 4 cards 2 of each design and I think they will make a great little gift for somebody. I hope you like them.

More goody's from the new mini catalogue

Hi, I have been a busy bee making lots of goody's some of them from the new mini catalogue which is launching on 1st April; here are some of the things I have made.

A scrapbook page using stamps from the new tiny tags set featured in the mini catalogue, as well as the eyelet border punch from the main catalogue and some sweet pea paper from the new design series paper stack in the mini.

This card is something quite different to any thing I have ever seen before, it's a sweet treats card and does exactly what it says. mine has chocolate fudge in it but for those that do not eat chocolate it can also be filled with other items such as sweets, seeds etc. It also features a tiny tag stamp and the new tiny tag punch in a new shape that is much more compact and easier to store.

The following card has been made using the new Vintage Vogue stamp set,one of my favourites from the mini with some more lovely paper from the sweet pea paper stack in the mini. Also featuring a designer flower brad from the main catalogue and some kraft taffeta ribbon also from the main catalogue.

If you would like to be one of the first see the new mini catalogue I can send you one out for free, just use the link to your left to contact me with your details and I will get one in the post to you as soon as possible.

I'll be back again soon with some lovely easter gifts.
