Sketch Saturday challenge

I made this card yesterday it took me far too long but I think the finished item is "ok". Have to make a valentines card for my son to give away so will attempt this with the paper take weekly challenge, and try not to take quite so long over it.

Beading Day

On Saturday I went to a beading class and was taught how to make this necklace, I only managed to make some of it at the class and finished it on Saturday evening. I enjoyed doing the class so much I stayed for another class in the afternoon, this time it was to make a cuff bracelet from seed beads and droplet beads, again I only managed a proportion of the bracelet and have been working on it at home, once it is finished I will upload to my blog for all to see.

Hand made Calendar

Hi Guys

Well I said I would make a desk calendar for my husband, this is my version; I have taken measurements from the K&Co calendar I bought before Christmas; it was so easy to make, I have left out the card inserts and have not put a year on the calendar so that it can be used for many years. There is a different family photograph on each month page. My husband seemed pleased with it anyway, why not let me know what you think!

Pain management...

Having trouble being in my chair tonight - can't seem to get in any position to be comfortable as I am in a lot of pain these days so... I decided to make a start on my Cairo album I keep saying I'm going to do; Have printed 22 photographs and now about to cut the front and back covers from Chip board, may even get time to cut the inner pages too. Will be back soon to update on how it is going.

My First Blog

Hello and Happy New Year to everybody,

This is all very new to me so you may think I ramble on a bit;
I celebrated my ?? Birthday on Wednesday and was taken out to lunch by my friend Lindsey; we went to a lovely little pub called the Swan and it made such a nice change; of cause we managed to take a look in the craft shop opposite too!
My husband Andy took me to the Orchard Lounge at the top of the Jaipur and we were joined by my son Simon and our very good friends and neighbours Manesh and Dipa. Dipa's Birthday was in December and she decided to spend it in New Zealand with her husband rather than celebrate with her family, so we made a bit of a fuss of her as it was her 40th. Both Dipa and I were given a vase as a gift because we made no secret of our celebration. I think I can safely say that we all enjoyed the evening.
