I am now a stampin' Up demonstrator.
I will be holding my first workshop at my house on 24th Feb at 7:30pm, everone is welcome. You can participate in a make and take, see lots of samples, have a cuppa and a chat with like minded crafters and just have fun; there will of course be other incentives, drop me a line if you plan to come along...
We currently have a promotion on called sale-a-bration which runs out on 28th Feb which could earn you extra stamp sets that are not available to buy; these are the stamp sets that are available...
Place an order and for every £45 you you spend worth of goods you purchase you can choose one of the free stamp sets on offer, so for an order of £90 you can choose 2 free sets on offer on so on.
Host a workshop of £300 sales before P&P and the hostess can choose any free set of her choice plus a free hostess stamp set. Why not call me to book your party before the sale-a-brations finishes.

Cookery Book
I don't know about you but over the years I have collected quite a few recipes that friends and family have passed on as well as one or two that have been torn out of magazines. These peices of paper become quite tatty over the years as they fall out of your most used cook book; so I decided I needed a book specifically for these.
I had a scrapbook kit from Sarah's card last year with Cosmio Crickit Early Bird papers and embellishments in it as well as a picture of the book by Sarah P. and here is the finished project. Very useful too!

Vintage Rose
This is a version of an embellishment taken from next months edition of the Craft Stamper. I love doing altered art and this mag gives you lots of projects to do.
The roses are made from grungepaper and a stamp, but you can use a die or your cricut machine. I changed the wording so that I did not have to buy new stamps and I already had the embellishments.
It will now hang somewhere in my craft room!

2010 Calendar
This is my new Calendar for 2010, it has photo's of the Lake District in it where we spent a few days for a break in November, it is such a beautiful place for photography. And when I have finished with the calendar I will be able to put the pages in a scrapbook, marvelous two jobs in one just the way I like it. I also managed to use up most of a K&CO scrap pad that I have had for several years.

Winter
Look what I woke up to this morning, like most of the country there was about 7-8cm of snow on the ground and it got worse as the day progressed. Basingstoke where my daughter lives had it much worse than we did, they had about 20cm overnight and of cause that grew worse as the day progressed; but I am so glad I don't live up North, especially Scotland as they have much more snow than us.
Isn't it strange how the country grinds to a halt when we have snow; we've been spoiled these past few years with such mild winters, it looks like we are paying for it now though.
I can remember the snow we had in 1987, I was just pregnant with my Son and the snow was knee high; transport could'nt cope much better then either.
Well I hope every body can stay warm and safe with the BIG chill; you never know we may be in for the sizzling summer they were going on about last year! We can live in hope anyway!!
